Stainless Steel Pipe Production Process

1. Raw material preparation: Select high-quality steel billets as raw materials and cut them into appropriate lengths according to requirements.
2. Heating: Heat the billets in a high-temperature furnace to a suitable temperature for hot rolling.
3. Perforation: The heated billets are perforated into hollow rough tubes by a perforator.
4. Hot rolling: The rough tubes are further rolled in a tube mill to achieve the required size and shape.
5. Sizing and reducing: The diameter and wall thickness of the tubes are adjusted by sizing and reducing mills to ensure dimensional accuracy.
6. Cooling: The steel pipes are cooled after hot rolling.
7. Cold rolling or cold drawing (optional): In order to achieve higher dimensional accuracy and surface quality, the steel pipes can be cold rolled or cold drawn.
8. Heat treatment: The internal structure and mechanical properties of the steel pipes are adjusted through heat treatment processes such as normalizing, annealing, quenching and tempering.
9. Inspection and testing: Dimensional inspection, non-destructive testing (such as ultrasonic testing, X-ray testing), mechanical property testing (such as stretching, flattening, flaring, etc.) and chemical composition analysis are performed on finished steel pipes to ensure product quality.
10. Surface treatment and packaging: Surface treatment is performed according to demand, such as pickling, phosphating, galvanizing, etc., and packaging is performed after passing the test.
